A seafaring cruise is a very popular option for many vacationers and honeymoon cruises are often chosen by newlyweds for a variety of reasons. If you’re planning a wedding and a honeymoon afterwards and you are trying to narrow down your choices, you may want to give some consideration to a cruise.
Why Consider A Honeymoon Cruise?
For one thing, honeymoon cruises are typically all inclusive. While this doesn’t mean that absolutely everything you want is provided for you - normally you need to pay for your own alcoholic beverages, massages, beauty salon services and things such as this - you usually have unlimited food and other beverages, high-quality entertainment, games and things such as these. This means no running around trying to find a restaurant or figuring out what to do all day. Organizers of honeymoon cruises realize that a couple want privacy and they want to relax as well, and they typically do whatever they can to ensure that your trip is an enjoyable one. Need some suntan oil? Just ask. Is it three in the morning and you’re craving a decadent chocolate dessert? Just ring up room service. The amount of service, food, beverage, entertainment and other things that you get with honeymoon cruises would probably cost you ten times as much as the cost of your ticket if you tried to purchase all these things separately.
What some people don’t realize about honeymoon cruises is that you’re not simply on the ship every minute of every day. There will be many ports to call at on the ship’s schedule, this is so that the ship can get supplies and fuel and the passengers can go into town to see the local attractions. This means that you get several vacations in one - time on a beautiful and luxurious floating hotel and time in some stunning locations as well. It’s important to give some consideration to the ports of call when shopping for honeymoon cruises because you’ll need to decide where you want to go and what you want to see. Are you interested in tropical locations, the Alaskan wilderness or a spot in Europe or Asia? There are so many wonderful honeymoon cruises available to you that the world really is your oyster!
Honeymoon cruises are also very convenient as you simply need to arrive at the ship with your luggage - there’s no need to get taxis, trains or buses from location to the next or to travel very far in order to see a stage show or performer. This is a very important consideration for those looking into honeymoon cruises as you need to remember that you’ll probably be exhausted from your wedding plans and activities. Your honeymoon is unlike any other type of vacation, you usually wouldn’t have all those distractions leading up to your trip. Being especially exhausted can lead to frustrations and irritations during your honeymoon and cause you to enjoy it that much less, this is something that nobody wants! A cruise usually equals relaxation, a lack of distractions and a honeymoon you’ll never forget.
